Another Republican Bites the Dust

So another holier than thou Republican gets caught with his zipper down. South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford admits today to an affair with a woman from Argentina.



One has to ask how much longer can the Republican Party continue to denigrate Gays for wanting to marry while party leaders keep getting caught with their zipper down.

Last week it was Senator John Ensign (R-NV), this week it's Sanford. We're starting a new feature today called Republican Zipper Hall of Shame to document all the marital abuses. The first two names are going to be Sanford and Ensign with Honorable Mention to Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, David Vitter, and our personal favorite Larry "Wide Stance" Larry Craig.

    This is only a 5.8 on the John Ensign Affair Scale. No cronyism. No doubling her salary. Sanford never called for anyone to resign. We gave him an extra point for the long distance factor. The Appalachian Trail think was sweet....it was Hike Naked day.
